In the age of digital music there are lots of differant ways to have music at a party. Some people think that its easier to plug their Ipod into their stereo and have their party at home. But whether you're in a big function room, in the local pub or at home, there is always room for a good DJ. Someone who will come in, play your favourite music and leave you to enjoy the night.
I have been working as a DJ in the East Cork area since late 2001,playing at weddings, parties and anything else you can think of. I carry a large selection of music and professonal equipment wherever I go and will play at any venue.
If you book me for your event you can expect a professional service that won't burn a hole in your pocket.  I will show up on time, start on time and play the music that you and yur guests will love. I am the type of DJ who will let the music do the talking, but I do carry a microphone so I will make any announcments that you want made.

Are you having a kids party, 18th, 21st, 30th or a party to celebrate any other milestone birthday or occasion. Well you only get one shot at it. The same can be said for your wedding reception. You dont want to leave your guests thinking "it was only alright". I
I have played for various occasions ranging from kids parties to weddings in big function rooms to parties in marquee set ups and will Taylor the music to suit the atmosphere and setting.

EQUIPMENT

I bring the same professional sound equipment to every gig. The set up inxludes:
Twin CD decks with mixer.
1 Amplifier.
2 300w speakers.
Wireless microphone.
I also have a set of professional disco lights that I can bring with me.  While not every occasion and venue will need lights but be assured that if they are needed, I'll have them.

MUSIC 

I carry a large music selection to every gig. Everything is on CD format. Music ranges from the 60s to the present day and covers most types of music. 
I also take requests at every gig. If I have the song, I'll play it. Song lists are also accepted. Just give me the list a few days in advance and I'll make sure I have the songs on the list.

VIDEO PRODUCTION

While studying for a fetac level 6 certificate in Multimedia I achieved acreditation as an Apple certified Pro in Final Cut Pro (a video editing package). This means that if you can provide the video, I can edit it and hand it back to you on a professional looking DVD.

MUSIC BACKUP & MP3 PLAYER ASSISTANCE

So you've built up a big music collection over the years, you want to back them up onto your computer but have no idea how to do it. I can either show you how to do it yourself or if you just want your collection to be backed up for you then I can do that also....but there's more. If you have bought an MP3 player / iPod I can help put music onto that as well

AUDIO PRODUCTION


While studying for a fetac and btec Radio Production I learned how to use Audio programs which can now be used to produce professional sounding material for you. Whether its a 30 second ad or a 20 minute documentary I have the equipment to record it and the tools to produce it.

RADIO WORK 

I have always been a huge music fan and I have always loved doing anything that was music related. I have studied radio broadcasting in college and have gone on to work on a few community radio stations in the east cork area. I have worked on Community Radio Youghal, Cork University hospital radio, Cork campus radio and Cork fm.  I am always on the look out for employment in radio so if you or someone you know is involved in running a station than I would love to talk to you. 

NEWSPAPER WORK

In 2007 I, quite by accident, landed a job to write a music column in a local paper. I took to it very quickly and really enjoyed rating and slating a differant album each week. Again, if you or someone you know works for a newspaper I would be more than happy to get back into "The Music Zone".
